Corm Riser Pot (Puddle Method) - Small

from £1.80

Elevate your puddle method corm growing to new heights with these corm risers.

These risers (available in a colour of your choice) come with a clear pot and lid all you need to do is add the corm(s) and water!

Available in 2 sizes, small and large.

I have always found the puddle method to be the fastest and simplest way to start corms as its so easy to just drop the corms in and add some water and you’re good to go, no messing with substrates or wick pots needed, especially good if you’re in a hurry they’re good to have on hand to make corm propping easier than ever.

Using a riser allows you to have more water in the pot so that they last longer between top-ups and reduce the risk of accidental drying out without the risk of drowning/rotting your corms. There’s plenty of room in each pot for several corms, pictured are my 3 Ninja Tricolour splash corms which are decently sized still with plenty of room for more corms to fit in there.

These small 4oz pots are great for the initial starting phase of your corms, get them rooting and shooting, even up to a first leaf (perhaps a little cramped) and then you can either take off the lid and keep them in a high humidity environment like a cabinet or prop box, or transfer on to their next pot size.

Please note that these corm risers aren’t rated for higher than ambient temperatures, so they’re not intended for use with heat mats or other heat sources as this could lead to warping/distortion over time and prolonged exposure.

** These colours are made out of PLA. PLA isn’t as suitable for higher humidity environments or high temperatures but the range of colours available allows for a larger choice of options. I have used cover pots and self watering outers that I designed and made out of PLA which have been used in my grow tent that sits at 28c and 80% minimum humidity (typically 85-95%) with no problems for 2 years, hence why I’m offering PLA for this product. If used as intended, this product will be more than sufficient. If you want the absolute best longevity then I’d recommend choosing a colour that doesn’t come with a 2 asterisks ( ** ) as these are made out of PETG.
